Mongo doesn’t like to be pigeonholed into a specific genre. He enjoys writing and performing many styles. From sad and haunting melodies played on his piano, to light-hearted and whimsical finger-picking on the acoustic guitar. He finds inspiration from day to day life experiences, random thoughts, fictional storytelling, literature and even in dreams. His mood and tone of the subject matter are the barometers of which instrumentation and genre are best suited to bring that particular story to life.

The Bastard Suns are a four-piece group from Atlanta, Georgia who perform original music comprised mostly of reggae-infused punk rock, often mixed with Irish drinking music. The Suns bring a high energy performance with infectious melodies and rhythms that are popular with both sexes and most age groups.
